My boyfriend and I have been together for over 5 years now. He started talking about the future a lot recently and it felt like he would try and propose. But I’ve always wanted to be the one to pop the question. Since I was young I’ve always thought it was silly that girls don’t get to ask. I knew I wanted to be with him, so I hurried up and ordered this custom ring! I literally proposed the weekend after it got here. We went out to the park with some kites. After we were done, I pulled out a bottle of wine and some glasses. I told him about how he makes me feel (i.e. amazing!) and why I want him in my life forever. And then I did it. He was so happy he gave me a hug that lifted me off my feet.
