Majesty Diamonds stands behind the quality and craftsmanship of our jewelry. We are here to make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase—now and in the future. These are just some of the reasons we offer a free lifetime warranty on every piece of jewelry we sell. This applies to loss of side stones and damage to the setting under normal use. That means if your merchandise is damaged due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship issue, we will make it right by repairing or replacing the item at no change to you, our customer.
Majesty Diamonds understands that sometimes people need to guess on ring sizes in order to keep gifts a surprise and that ring sizes change over time. That’s why we are happy to offer one free ring resizing during the first year after the purchase date.
We can only guarantee an outstanding quality repair if we do the work ourselves. We want to be the only ones you trust to inspect a jewelry defect and figure out its source. To determine which claims are valid under our warranty we will have to see the stone ourselves.
At Majesty Diamonds, we inspect each piece before shipment because we want to be sure you have an excellent purchasing experience. Like we said before, all repairs and replacements done under warranty are free of charge (excluding shipping fees to and from Majesty Diamonds). If a repair or resize is necessary, we will ask you to securely ship your item(s) to us, and we will repair or replace the jewelry right here in Montreal, Canada. Although our warranty covers all manufacturer defects, we strongly recommend insuring jewelry items with an independent insurance company or including them in your home insurance policy. We would hate for something to happen to your Majesty Diamonds jewelry without insurance.
Exclusions & limitations
At Majesty Diamonds we are proud to offer a free lifetime warranty on all of our diamond jewelry items; however, our warranty does not cover any silver items and stainless steel items that are sold on the website. Please note this warranty is exclusive to diamond jewelry sold on www.majestydiamonds.com. Further limitations are outlined in order for you to prevent any unforeseen circumstances that may not be covered by www.majestydiamonds.com.
Diamonds are considered one of the hardest, strongest substances known to man—but they can still chip or be damaged. We want you to enjoy your diamonds and other jewelry for as long as you own them, so please take care of them. To avoid chips, always be careful when performing physical tasks. A best practice would be to put your jewelry in a safe place until you are finished. Our warranty does not cover center stones or jewelry broken during strenuous activities.
Majesty Diamonds jewelry is so gorgeous, we’re sure you will never want to take it off—but if you do, make sure to put it in a safe place because we cannot cover lost or stolen jewelry.
In addition to the exclusions mentioned above, the following items are not considered defective and cannot be covered under our warranty: soldering, chain soldering, special finish requests, re-casting, and lost earring backs.
Our warranty does not cover any damage that:
- Results from wear and tear or is consistent with aging under normal use;
- Is the result of repair, service or alteration done by a jeweler other than Majesty Diamonds;
- Results from accident, abuse, misuse, mishandling and/or contact with chemicals, fire, earthquake or other external causes;
- Relates to rhodium plating on white gold jewelry (rhodium plating is not permanent); and
- Has to do with loss of brilliance of a diamond (careful cleaning is the best way to keep diamonds looking brilliant).
We are sure you have great taste, but unfortunately Majesty Diamonds is unable to accept returns on custom jewelry.
Majesty Diamonds is not responsible to pay for shipping, insurance, customs fees or any other charges you may incur in sending warrantied items for repair or replacement. Furthermore, Majesty Diamonds is not responsible to pay for shipping, insurance, customs fees or any other charges you may incur when we send back a repaired item. Customers are responsible for shipping fees on repaired items to and from Majesty Diamonds.
